    I was looking through a photo album my sister had from a trip she took.

    I saw this pic she had from the ride on the plane and thought it was pretty cool.

                                                                                      The ma,01 digital readout on the bulkhead is there to let passengers know what speed they're currently cruising at.
                                                                                      She took that pic when they had reached Mach 1 or 717 mph which is faster than the speed of sound.
                                                                                      The Concorde comfortably cruises at Mach 2 or twice the speed of sound.

                                                                                      She got a full tour of the plane before takeoff and I'll post some more pictures tomorrow.

                                                                                      Pretty amazing aircraft for over thirty years ago

                                                                                                                                      One of the men in my sister's group was a VIP ( very important pilot ) so they got the grand tour of the plane.
