I kept digging and found a program that will allow her to be treated at a St Francis by a specialist with or without money... Plus, I have an appointment with the best hospital in the region and managed to get it for under $200!! I don't believe in seeing doctors around here, but this place is so good I'd fly back to go there if I ever had to go to one..
So all I had to do was go to the slum clinic and get her tests on a CD and run them over to the practice.. then we have to fax a release over from the other place so that they can send the sonogram and reuptake films/results over.
Oh, and, how is this for hijinx.. the doc she was seeing at the poor people clinic IS NOT A FUCKING MD AT ALL - we caught it because of an article in the paper mentioning some work she's done - they call her "doctor" when we're there, but she is only an LPN for chrissakes
