I want an App for my site

Hot site for sure.

My girlfriend builds Android and iPhone apps for people in her spare time (which isn't much).

It's not really something you can just pick up and bang out. I've tried. Thankfully, I've got her to fill in the blanks.

you wont get an app like that in the itunes app store as they banned all the babe apps (they never allowed topless but anything remotely titillating is now banned).

dont know about android though!

There are other outlets and means for making adult apps available on both platforms.

So, it's just an app with X thumbnails listed on a page, and when you press on a thumbnail it opens up the large image version?

No user login or management, and it's not an app that pulls the thumbnails + fullsize images from online - they're stored on the phone (so if you want to update the images youd have to submit an updated version of the app to apple).

For iPhone App iOS 4.0+

Development would be about 12 hours.
Design / Layout would probably be another 4-8 hours.

So quick estimate is roughly 16-20 hours and I charge $150 / hour.

$2,400 - $3,000 total.

I have to say though, there's no promise that Apple will accept it since it will have sexual content - and the app needs to be paid for regardless if it's accepted or denied by Apple.

For an Android app, price should be about the same - I could probably do some sort of deal for the Android like buy the apple app, and then get the android for half price. Oh, and they wouldn't be developed in any of those "multi-platform" development tools - they'd both be developed in their native environments (aka - both apps would be developed from scratch).

If you just want anyone to build you an app, go to freelancer.com and post the job there. I'm sure you can get someone to build it for $500.
