i find it handy, i just finished a clients site, they run a printing house , and people send them creatives via the web, they were using ftp and the server was messing up all the time. so i setup an ajax uploader, which sends the creatives to their dropbox, which syncs across all the sales reps desktop and mobile devices along with an email detailing the projects, its saved them loads of time.
