Qft. Each party has picked up some up the teachings of Christ. The Republicans understand the rule of law. The Democrats are into compassion. The republicans value the wisdom of the ages. The democrats value charity (or their understanding of it).
It would be interesting to ask Christ about the value of "charity" by force, taking something from the rightful owner and handing it to someone else, under threat of imprisonment of the person who made the thing didn't give it up.
But what about the socialists?:
