Well, I've owned a bunch of LaserJet printers and IMO they're the best laser printer on the market. Know who makes a really crappy product? Brother. Samsung. Those are some seriously crappy laser printers.
I've opened up a Brother to pull out the cartridge, and had the toner spill out all over the floor. What do you think the yield is on those things? Not much, really.
But I've only bought a couple cartridges for my LaserJet 1012 and holy shit they last for years. And the toner prints extremely consistently. I've never had any issues at all.

Agree. Got a HP printer this summer as it had good design (Envy) for my office. Couldn't get the quality (DPI) that was promised and found tons of others on their supportforums with the same issue. No replies there and nada on email and phone. Needless to say I sold it a couple of days later.
