Did it ever occur to any of you Penn and Teller fans that they are full of shit sometimes too?

I hope you don't believe that.

I dont know anything about mother theresa.
But the catholic church said she wanted people to suffer so she could understand them?
Instead of using the money she got to help them?

Mother Theresa was Catholic. I mean, what more needs to be said?

I'm willing to bet most on here think very highly of her, but they should do some impartial research on their own before they start worshiping her as a saint.

She probably meant well, but she could have picked another corporation to work for - one that actually helps people. My 2 cents.

Well apparently she got all this money and didnt use it to give medicine to help sick people. She used it to build more and more stables for sick people to come and lie in their own shit and die in pain.

I never liked her....dunno why, but after i saw that ep it made a lot of sense why i always got a creepy feeling about her, with her pain and death fetishes and all.... Christopher Hitchens wrote an article for the US left-wing journal The Nation in which he called Mother Teresa "The Ghoul of Calcutta". He later narrated and co-wrote Hell's Angel, a documentary broadcast 8 November 1994 on Channel 4 in Britain, and expanded his criticism in a 1995 book, The Missionary Position. He despised the unquestioning adoration of the vast majority of Western commentators, which he felt judged her by her reputation, not by her actions. His particular qualms were with what he perceived as her lack of treatment for people, particularly children, placed in her care; her strong religious views on contraception and abortion, the latter of which she described as "the greatest destroyer of peace today"; and her "acceptance" of poverty, which took the form of encouraging the poor to embrace their poverty.

Hitchens asserts that Mother Teresa behaved like a political opportunist who adopted the guise of a saint in order to raise money to spread an extreme and aggressive version of Catholicism. He also condemns her for using contributions to open convents in 150 countries rather than establishing a teaching hospital, the latter being what he implies donors expected her to do with their gifts.

He also criticized her for what he considers to be less-than-honorable financial dealings: the pursuit and acceptance of donations from third world dictators, large donations accepted from Charles Keating, who was later convicted of fraud, racketeering and conspiracy; and the allocation of these donations away from treatment and towards furthering what Hitchens considered "fundamentalist" views.

Im not looking at her religious beliefs, im looking at her actions. You saw how those people were living and suffering.

mother terresa was evil, only helping ppl that allowed her to convert them, if a person didnt want to convert in to x-tianity then shed let them die on the street while she helf millions from european charities..

its the truth....it happens in all 3rd world countries especially where many dont want to convert... thats why theres hardly any missionaries in muslim countries, they have truble converting
