Same here - taught myself a few programming languages and developed some good biz plans in the loo

It can be just as productive as any office

I used to read in the bog. There's something nice and relaxing about a bathroom - maybe its because it's a clinical-like room with no distractions and a frosted window, but I strangely like my time in there.

As weird as that may sound...

lol..I was referring to 'the toilet' as the the room..ie 'the bathroom' or 'the loo' (where I live).

lol no..I think it just is the one place I have traditionally been able to read for more than two minutes without somebody interrupting me. So, it became habit.

When it came time to get my degree I was able to decide between a B.A. or a B.S. because so many of my courses overlapped both of them. In the end I took a B.S. and joked that since so much of my reading was done in the loo it felt apt.

I take my morning mail into the crapper with me and read it. Some of it even has a duel use sometimes. :D

Or 'leaf' through the latest stack of flyers, or the community newspaper that comes free every Thursday.
