When it comes down to it I don't know if pictures are illegally scanned, obtained from the original photographer, or a completely different source then playboy (I don't read playboy, so I wouldn't recognize a series). I do ask questions though if I have any doubt.
If I get reports I immediately take action. This might not always be taking down the link. I always check with the webmaster that submitted first. If I don't get a reaction back or if there's indeed stolen content on it and it's not taken care of I report this to his sponsors, ad him to the blacklist and send all information I have on file of all submitters to the one that reported the theft.Comment

If you ask me I think the makers of American Pie wouldn't mind too much about this one. I'm sure there are people out there who will either rent or buy this movie when they see those clips. So I don't know about the legal works in this one. If I know it's illegal I don't post it. If I think it's illegal, I don't post it. If I think it IS legal I'll post it, but if ANYONE will proof me wrong I will pull the link and will cooperate fully in getting any details passed on that I know about the guy that submitted it.

I was wondering about this issue a couple of weeks ago and was also curious about why so many tgps are listing celeb content. I would say the only celeb stuff that is licensed is porn movies. Where can you license playboy, and big us movie studio content?
I was kind of pissed at the cheaters getting listings legit webmasters should have. BUT like the hun said he doesn't really know what is and isn't legit. I guess I can understand this since everybody is different. Me being in america and watching lots of movies, I can spot tons of illegal content listed at tgps right away. Maybe he and others can't though. Kind of like yahoo and other directories.
So a couple weeks ago I emailed a few big places. Playboy and some movie studios. Everybody got back to me through email within a week and told me the same thing.
It's illegal and all that good stuff that applies to copyrighted work, also applies to their stuff. They also thanked me and told me to email them at some address so they could forward it to their legal department. Considering adult webmasters are reproducing the stuff and making money, they would obviously be targets first, over fan type sites.
I don't know if these big companies are constantly sending out letters for sites to shut down or not. Maybe if you email them nothing will even come out of it. I personally don't care and every time I find a celeb site like that I report to the company involved.Comment
