    Why Am I Watching This Soccer!!

    Well..


    I seem to be staying up all night now watching this soccer and I am actually pretty entertained by it all and have NEVER been a soccer fan before..
    but 1 question for you soccer guys..

    how is it that like Poland has a guy on the team named like Umbebe or something?

    and I noticed like other teams seem to have what appear to be hired guns?

    Isnt it a country thing? Or are they given exclusions or something?

      what? becouse they are not born in poland and meybee DONT look like a poland guy it doesn mean they are POLISH hard to understand that ? ... read some books meybee you see its many different people with different colors in the world.

              You don't need to be born in that country, you just need to be a citizen of it to play for it.

              Just like the Olympics. Shortly before they started people were getting specialy fast citizenship applications approved.

              But why would Poland get a 'hired gun' from Africa?

                          the guy you are talking about was born in nigeria
                          he has a citizenship of both nigeria and poland.
                          he play for the polish team.

                          there are some other countries that have players who are born in other countries. I know germany has one

                              It's all about citezenship. Simple as that. Obviously though, the majority of players are those born in the country they are representing.
