Recent polls suggest otherwise.
Ron Paul was at a 50/50 tie with Obama in a recent Harris Interactive Poll. The only candidate, that is running, that beat him is Mitt Romney and only by 1%.
Ron Paul is more likely to beat Obama than Gingrich, Pawlenty, Bachmann, Perry, Santorum, Huntsman, Cain, Johnson and McCotter (in that order).
