        Yeap. They are called dissolved solids. Those minerals collect in your kidneys to produce kidney stones later in life.

        Spring water isnt filtered. They are only required to clean the water of bacteria. Purified water removes the majority of the 'rock' in water.

                                The smell of tap water puts me off. Seems to have the same chlorine level as the pool.

                                        People are getting all up in arms about the fact that they use tap as source water. But, if it's purified AND they use tap it's going to be better for you than spring or well water.

                                        It's a shame that all people see is the word tap.

                                        I usually buy distilled.
                                        I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

                                                        actually public water is safer then bottled water because there are more checks on public water. I like whole foods italian mineral water, its got bubbles and only a buck a bottle.

                                                                    I try to stick with filtered tap water unless i'm in outside the US/Canada... no need to waste bottles if i'm sitting at home and feel like a drink of water.

                                                                        True.. they're both definitely safe, but my water travels through a lot of pipe to get here. Something about that just puts me off, it's not like those pipes get serviced and cleaned regularly. I like to run it through a brita, I think it tastes better after. Mind you, keeping water in the fridge also makes it taste a lot better, could have nothing to do with the filter.
