    Stolen pickup I thought

    Was going to go to the store this morning, went outside and my pickup was gone. I said oh shit someone stole it..
    Called the cops... Reported it stolen... The cop told me if they stop anyone in my pickup... They pull there guns and
    order the people out...

    So I go over to check my mail and decide to walk over to the
    Wonder (Hostess) bread outlet store... Which I usually do (walk there), it's like maybe 100 yards from my Apt., it's around the
    corner and I can't see it from my Apt.
    Walk around the corner and there in the little parking lot is my pickup, windows down and unlocked..

    I'd stopped on my way home the day before and walked home, as a matter of fact I had to walk RIGHT past my
    pickup..

    Called the cops and they said the officer will have to come back.... Well not am scared to drive... until the he comes
    back... and that's been about 5 hours ago that I called...

    Heck when I called to report it stolen they got here very fast, like 10 or 15 min.'s after I called...

          I think it's come back to haunt me...
          Must have been when I landed on that runway in France.
          Could have been the sugar beet fields...

              Here is the scenario:

              Wind speed around 22-26 knots (even though regs were no drops above 12 knots).

              Reservist flying the aircraft over flies the DZ but allows green light anyhow.

              Most of the stick drops over trees.

              I am coming in backwards (wind speed to high to turn).

              I am looking around to see if I am going to land in a tree.

              I saw that I wasn't going to hit a tree and I slammed in backwards into a high clump of bushes. Inside the bushes was a tree stump. Factured my back and was off duty and jump status for about eight weeks.

                  Dont drive it until it cleared bro, they WILL arrest you, this is a big flaw for insurance scams, do NOT drive it, they wont take your word for it.

                  They will believe you as a insurance scam and will take you in.

                          Thanks alot Fletch... I called them again... and the lady told me the cop took it off... I also put the Pink Slip ( title ) in my wallet...

                          Am still worried... No fucking telling could get some triger happy cop... and my white ass is history..
