I can't disagree with you Stefan. I don't like both exactly for the reasons you pointed above. Believe me or not, but Russia is not delighted with Putin. personal goals and interests aside, i think putin does great job being president of russia. that organic process you mention could have naturally swung in to another direction be there someone else in his place. imagine having someone like lukashenko for instance as russian president, no natural resources would be suffiecient to get russia out of slumpComment

Putin does do things for the people like take back what was stolen by the Olgarichs where as Bush tends to steal and give to the American corporations who back him.
Even though Putin has been implicated in a few assassinations it is nothing in comparrison to Bush's illegal war.
America is now the laughing stock of the world with a shit worthless currency. Russia on the other hand does have alot of financial clout and is held in high regard.
Only devout republicans and American patriots will vote for Bush on this.
