I thought it would be nice if every sponsor will add to the bottom of each feed/blog post a link to their 2257 info. Which sponsors do this already and which are willing to do that?
Paysite owners: what you you think about putting a link 2257 into your feeds?

Shy not? I believe the paysite owners should take care of their affiliates. I'm thinking to add such an option to my sponsored feed plugin, so it will automatically add a link to 2257 into into every post. Is anybody here interested in that?Obey the CowgodComment

Yes, exactly!
Is it a big surprise for you, Jace? Lots of "people from Russia" have their own affiliate programs, and lots of them are interested in US webmasters, so why don't they should care about them? FYI: we are in a same bot so far.Last edited by just a punk; 07-28-2007, 03:48 PM.Obey the CowgodComment

if you did that I would actively ban all programs using that plugin from my blogs
don't give people shit they aren't asking for it
did you see someone asking for this or something?
I am in the USA, I am an active blogger, and I don't care in the least about 2257Comment

It's just your way of doing business. I know you are going to be our competitor when your project will be ready, so it's ok - I don't think those programs will lose anything if you ban them from your splogs - there are 1000's of other bloggers who use their feeds (including me)
Why not? I know the affiliates are interested to have 2257 info in every feed.
Yes I did. And not only once... As far as you can see it was a question for the paysite owners but not for affiliates.
You don't but others do. I'm in Russia, so I shouldn't care of 2257 at all, but I do because I'm working with the US webmasters as well and I just can't say "fuck you all" because I respect them

That's in case if they host the content on their sites. But what's about sponsored RSS feeds that are being hosted outside?Obey the CowgodComment

Parsing RSS feeds and displaying them on your site constitutes entering into an agreement to display said content. You have therefore (re)produced it and are now responsible for their record keeping.
Same as hotlinking, using javascript / iframes to display ads, etc. etc. etc...Comment

Why Not?
Because it would be against the regulations!
Your blog, your domain, you display/publish/post sexually explicit content on it, YOU NEED YOUR OWN 2257 PAGE.
Jesus, does anyone even read the regulations?
Contrary to popular belief, they are not that hard to figure out.
