    Should I bill a sponsor for my inconvenience when...

    I've had to spend all kinds of energy and deal with all kinds of headaches due to late check issues... twice.. The first one taking 3 months to resolve.. the second one 2 months (concurrent to first) and the third over a month??

    Every step of the way each time I was 100% patient, understanding, whatever else while hearing "haven't heard from this department" or "check on it will know X day" type of things..


    Is it just another CODB in time spent, or, should I bill them?

    I'm pretty fucking pissed about it and it's NOT EASY to make me mad

                  I definitely won't work with them again.. but it sucks, because I thought it was such a great business relationship with the "most solid sponsor in existance". To me, that is what they were, and in fact I do still feel that way about them in spite of this. I never doubted that I would ultimately get my money (even though I am the most paranoid untrusting person ever to live).

                  Fuck it though - you're right.

                          It's just, fuck, now I finally got the check after waiting a month and there "may be a stop payment on it" and it "may have been re-issued".... (it's this left hand never knows who the right hand is jerking off kind of a thing) so the guy I go through to cash it might get stuck the money, so then I look bad..

                          I mean sure if that happens I can go and give him the new one IF IT EVER COMES but that is another 1hr drive and he'll also want $30 bank fee out of me.

                          Not to mention earlier this month I had to drive an hour away and pawn shit to go and take food to my grandmother because of this shit in the first place.. For fuck sakes

                              They have read your posts and are betting you are going to drive your car into a tree, get arrested, go to rehab, or murdered by your nutty girlfriend so they are holding back payments hoping they will be off the hook. Just a guess.
