          I doubt he was murdered. I have talked with guys who were in his unit and were there that day and they all described it the same way. He was advancing on a position and a guy was just shooting at the target. Tillman stood up to advance right in the dudes line of fire and he didn't stop. It was an accident.

              I'm just going on what the evidence shows. Considering the story has changed so much, I'm not sure we'll ever know what really happened.

                      Who knows what may or may not have happened?

                      This is a typical criminal investigation scenario.... Statements may conflict and sometimes there can be confusion (especially on a "war front"), but - it's obvious someone or some people are lying. For what motivation/purpose??

                      The prime evidence (not verbal or opinions) is going to be forensic. If this ties in with the statements, or it's a possibility it could - fine. If not, there are some further "chats" needed till someone changes their story. Time will tell...

                              I worked at a shooting range in Mesa, and I did speak with 3 different guys from his unit on 3 seperate occasions. I don't need to lie to impress anyone here, I could care less. Believe what you want, but I've heard it fromt he source.

                                  On the Nightly News tonight Brian Williams reported on a Medical Examiner's Report showing Tillman had a cluster of three gun shot wounds to his forehead in a 2 in diameter. IMPOSSIBLE to have such close clustering at the distances reported by the troops involved. Said he was ignored.

                                      I loved the governments original story.... That Tillman ran unafraid straight into battle to fight for our freedom and our hero was killed by the enemy.

                                      Just goes to show you that Bush & Co will lie about anything to keep war morale high.

                                                  Who knows, but that may have been the start of deception - followed by a series of lies to cover up and, in the process, confuse the issue.

                                                  That story may just have been at "face value" - ie another pathetic propaganda story and, only a gutty feeling, it was, and no more than you could expect and not exactly criminal.

                                                  It's also hard to get actual "facts" from the press - this is also open to warping and distortion - tho often unintentional. But... witnesses know the facts and forensic data has weight. The only element needed is "clean" investigators. Even if there is no criminal activity, it would be reasonable to give Mr Tillman's family closure.

                                                          This is the problem with having "clean investigators" - there are too many people with agenda's hovering around what may be a crime investigation.

                                                          It's hard to imagine how any investigation team would be assembled under these circumstances, what their brief would be, who they would report to, what existing data they would have access to etc -when everything is shrouded in politics and ulterior motives from the US military thru the Pentagon to the Whitehouse.

                                                          If that is not a web of total corruption - nothing is *lol*
