I didn't watch the whole match but I saw about the last 20 minutes and Turkey got robbed. About 4 minutes to go and the games tied 1-1 and the ref awards a penalty kick to Brazil when one of their players went down outside the box; they end up scoring. Then in injury time Turkey gets a free kick right outside Brazil's box and 2 Brazilian players come running and dive at the ball long before the Turkish player had a chance to kick, they were way closer then 10 feet from him when he kicked. I could care less who won the game but that was fucking bullshit.

That was too fucking much. Turkey must have been huge underdogs and they came so close and then they have the game stolen from them by some paid off ref.

Brasil won, and deserved to win. I hate the faking though, it was very unprofessional of the turkish guy to kick Rivaldo when he was in the corner, but the faking was too much too. Left a bad taste in my eyes...and I'm off.Comment

Turkey defended very well in the first half. Always on their man, getting right to basics. Second half, they let things go a little, and it cost them.
The penalty: Should not have been a penalty.

Furthermore, both of those red cards were valid. The pulling down of Luizao was a red card offence. But it should not have been a penalty.
Unsal kicking the ball out Rivaldo was pathetic and showed bad sportsmanship. Rivaldo's response was even worse. Unsal deserved to be sent off, but Rivaldo deserves punishment for what he did. I can see FIFA doing something about this matter.26 + 6 = 1Comment
