So I arrived today (the 25th) to pick up the car at Lambo Las Vegas. The car is in Oro Elios Color (Pictured Below).
The color was unique to 26 Diablo Millenium 'Special Edition' cars.

What is improved in the 2008? Very seamless transmission, light, smooth steering, the car almost 'feels' 1000lbs lighter than my former murcielago -- and a more refined feel to the drive/audio etc. The car is definitely faster! The car also comes with air pressure sensors, a new touch-screen style audio system. My car I also added the glass engine cover and carbon ceramic brakes. You can definitely feel the difference the carbon ceramics make.

I drove it from Las Vegas to Phoenix today, and it happened to be a total thunderstorm. In fact, at one point I traversed a road that had literally become a 'muddy river' essentially making this the first offroad lambo lol. See for yourself:

nice! the LP640s def improved a lot of stuff from the Murci's even though the body was close to unchanged.

not my cup-of-tea on the color but as long as you like it that's all that matters!

i'm aiming for 12-24 months to get a Gallardo myself. can't wait!

Actually I use my SLR for daily driving (& buying paper towels at walmart), already have 7000 miles on it since January. It has a lot of trunk space...

As for the Veyron, it comes in next year.
