Right now I'm using the i7 2600k overclocked to 4.5ghz. Nice chip. Cooling is the Corsair h70 water cooler. Easy to install.
For video card I have the gtx580.
Case is Obsidian with about 8 fans.
24 GB of corsair vengeance ram and a Rosewill 1000 watt poweer supply.
