First of all, I do not have to
prove anything to you and I am generally disinclined to interact with you on boards because you're a troll to anyone who disagrees with you. However, since your response to that answer is so completely predictable, I will humor you with just a few suggestions I would make to my congressman.
- Eliminate tax loopholes for corporations and multi-millionaires
- Return the tax rate to the Pre-Bush Levels
- End the wars and bring back US Service Men
- Dramatically cut and reform military spending
- Investigate social programs and eliminate fraud and waste
- Right now if you earn over 120K (not firm on this number) you do not pay into social security. Change that so that every citizen must pay into it.
- Regulate big businesses
- Get rid of subsidies for business that do not need it. Two examples that immediately come to mind are corporate farmers and the oil and gas industry
- Tax on Gas (just like Dukakis suggested back in the day) and use that revenue to rebuild infrastructure and make more toll roads to help generate states income
- Investigate, reform and remove fraud from all social programs
Those are just a few of the things I personally would want to see. However, the House of Representatives is probably the only group of people in the country that knows where all of our money is going and I am sure that there are literally thousands of expenditures that can be cut, investigated, reformed and audited that could generate billions in revenues. To list them all here would exceed the maximum character count I am sure. But see that would take work and being a bunch of drama queens is how congress is choosing to act. None of those suggestions are particularly useful for feeding the trolls or suited to sound bites which the public seems to crave.
The bottom line is that you disagree with me, so be it. If I worked hard I
could care less but it would take effort. And since I am absolutely convinced, judging from your past behavior, that you will just respond with some arrogant and ignorant, not at all though out 'pithy' reply I am done humoring you. If however you show some maturity and counter-point me with an intelligent reply I would be happy to debate you some more.
