And as far as Janet Reno, who's to say? You're using conjecture, not fact.
Most politicans go after porn for brownie points, fact is it would take a major shift in the morals of the comon man to shut down porn. So they make points by giving the porn industry rules like 2257.
Sort of like the same thing with guns in the US, did you know there are 20,000 gun laws in the US, this is how they get brownie points, when it really doesn't do shit to protect you from people that shouldn't have guns or have the illegally.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
