Be realistic, the tea party may have had a huge impact on our political system but it has had a HORRIBLE effect on Washington. I thought it could not get worse but it did. I believe there will be a backlash to the tea party's influence which is directly contradictory to what you believe with happen, time will tell.

this Quote may seem a little extreme, but it's what I thought about reading your concern about what the Tea Party has done to the political environment. Because the same was thought of when Ross Perot ran for president.
The tree of liberty needs to be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As more and more people see what our government is doing to the US, they will reach out in concern, the Tea Party offers help for those that are not happy, they get corporate money, doesn't mean they run it, there are over 2600 tea party groups if I remember right

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
