    Please explaine why FIFA allows contries like saudia arabia, china, usa and costa rica to participate in the world cup.

    they are simply not ready for this level yet.

    germany - saudia arabia 8-0 ... embarrassing

    the allocation of the above contries are made at the expence of graet football nations like holland and czech rep..

    who do you think are going to win the world cup (look out for DENMARK)

                              Soccer is terribly boring. I see why people riot at soccer games though. They get bored with watching the game and decide to beat the shit out of the guy next to them for a little excitement. In the US, we sleep to celebrate the world cup.

                                      A bunch of haphazard slapdicks, running around field in no discernable pattern, kicking the ball back and forth and back and forth and back and forth... hoping and praying that when somehow the ball ends up down around the goal area that someone happens to kick it in.

                                                      They are there cuz they deserve to be there.. If you knew a bit about Futbol, you would have some kind of idea of what is going on.

                                                      And this will be the first world cup where a country from a foreign continent wins it all. - So far whenver the cup has been played in America and American team has won and whenever it's been in Europe a European nation won, Asia has no chance

                                                      Oh by the way, Denmark is not gonna do shit! They won the only game they could win. France and Senegal r gonna tear them up.

                                                                  Belgium, czech, netherland, scotland, austria, greece, russia and norway plus some other european contries would all be able to qualify in Asia og north america.

                                                                                                  Who would have thought senegal would have beaten france? u need the suprises in the world cup and the "other lesser countries" need a chance to develop and become better, they rightfulyl qualified in there groups which in some cases included brazil and argentina.

                                                                                                  Every team thats at the WC is there on credit, agreed some groups are easier, but thats the way it is, for example Italy have an easier run in this world cup to get to the final, with ur suggestion it will then mean they "dont deserve to be there" etc etc.

                                                                                                      8 years ago, when the World Cup was held in the US... the games were scheduled in the morning and early afternoon.. when people were working.. well, everywhere.. from small.. to big companies (such as Ford, Sony, General Electric and so on) made the expected.. they gave 2 hour breaks.. and installed TVs.. and BIG screens (if they could afford it) so their workers could watch the national team play ;)

                                                                                                      Classes in Colleges, High Schools and Elementary Schools were interrupted so students could watch the national team play

                                                                                                      The streets are empty whenever the national team plays

                                                                                                                          The top 40 idea sounds nice, but considering that all but 2 of the current teams are already in the top 40 (save Senegal and China), and one of the two that isn't just beat the #1 ranked FIFA team, it's hard to argue with the current sytem.

How do you think that list gets generated? On the performance of the teams in the big tournaments, therefore we would have the same 40 teams every year because the others would never play in a big tournamenet. Good idea sid. The way it is done at the moment is the best. China etc may go home after 3 games, as many said senegal might, but now senegal might go through, republic ireland might, and for these countries and them players it means a MASSIVE amount, as it does to me when england win.

                                                                                                                                          lets say you are going to play a game. if you lose you get 10 points, if the game ends in a draw you get 15 point and if you win you get 20 points.....

                                                                                                                                          that is how it works (only the amount of points will be different)

                                                                                                                                          also, the teams in south america are not as good as in europe, but you get as much points as us....

                                                                                                                                          so a game holland against ecuador is for the fifa the same as holland against france! when holland wins both games they get 40 points, but it is easier to win from ecuador then to win from france.......
