how do you get affilates to join?

ite has been up not for a few weeks most people have said the site is good (ok few little things need changing here and there but you know) yet hard hardly any affilates sign up and whore it out, as i seem to have found out thats a BIG part of getting traffic to the site.

so how do i get affilates to join?

anyone out there like to help me out a bit, even someone with a few sites that are doing well who might be interested in taking over the advertisment side of things for a % of the site.

Well, for one thing you should have a link in your sig leading to ravencash so webmasters can easily sign up.

Also, your site is only going to appeal to webmasters who have the more extreme/niche fetish sites (like me for example). I can think of a half dozen or more who post here regularly, it is those people you need to talk to most. Newwman, Anna_O etc.

so u all think the consept is good just the design is bad? i can go with that im not one to say im good at something when im not LOL

i dont know what to reply to exactly so will just do a general reply.

I have been spending all my time on advertising the site and sorting the site out with design etc..

i have now got to a point where i feel it be better to get a webmaster to take over the advertisment if nothing else maybe redesign the site, i did not want to do that before becasue i felt that someone else would take it in the wrong direction to where i wanted it to go but to be hoenst the site doesnt look how i wanted it to either LOL

oh for everyone who gave me there ICQ im jsut downloading it onto the computer at the mo so will add u in a few mins

Nawh. U should just design it yourself. Nobody is going to have your same vision, and most likely you will end up getting frustrated with someone else designing it. So to save time & money, it's best to just do it on your own, and forget you ever came here. Keep working and learning.

I was thinking the same, I really didn't know what the topicstarter was looking for.

My advice: redesign the site, get some free hosted galleries. Send those galleries to site owners like Bike and some others and you will generate some signups. Put your webmaster signup URL in your sig post a lot of crap on GFY and you might get some more affiliates

the problem with doing it my self is it does not look like i want it to, i am not sure how it should look i want a good ballence between a look i like and a site that sells well.

You need to have several good traffic leaks on the site(s).

Affiliates trip all over themselves to respond in threads about affiliate programs with sites that have traffic leaks.

Traffic leaks = thread views
Thread views = signups

Keep the design to the side as a second option for people to send traffic to. Some surfers will like it. some wont.

as for affiliates. Put the link in your sig to the program, and start talking to people on the board. Not about the program, but about the topic of the threads. as people get to know you, the chance will come up about the program.
