                                            ah, what you all thought you had been waiting for. please don't misinterpret my actions here. I last said I would post here when I got new info, just posting to post in some drama thread is not my way of doing things, BUT!
                                            I went to vegas on monday, spoke with people that evening and ultimately they were not helpful, i went back to the desk on tuesday and spoke to accounting, abd they were unhelpful, finally I spoke to the morning supervisor. what she said finally made some sense. my wallet went missing between 4 30 and 5 on wednesday of that week. I didn't discover it till an hour and a half later. the card was presented at the front desk at that time at lisa's check in. (these are the words of the hard rock mind you) it was charged 3 days later by the day supervisor a mr. simon. at 11 35 am.
                                            meaning whovever picked up the wallet (or pickpocketed it) took it to the front desk at 5 24 pm on wednesday and used it as the room deposit card.

                                            I also reported the wallet stolen, but vegas police were basically useless. They have no interest in trying to find it or in hearing about how it was lost or how it may have magically appearred an hour later in someone elses hands.

                                            I am waiting on a few more details from the day supervisor that was on yesterday, and I will report them when they come, until then I wish you all well.

                                                                        Seeing as I did not check into the hotel until 5:45pm and on both receipts it shows my cards on file at check in......that could not have happened....since I was told by the hotel that it was presented at 8:40am on the 14th of July....wow this hotel doesn't know up from down......they told him 2 stories in 2 weeks....as for me we can stop calling me a whore like in a few posts above....I did not take his wallet since I was in the airport until 5:15pm on Wednesday.....I flew in late. So again....the Hard Rock hotel is never going to admit that they made a mistake....

                                                                                                        I am not trying to contradict his statement. I am showing that the hotel is the one who messed up. I checkout like I said and left with my husband. Our friend left on Friday the night before to get his kid for the weekend.

                                                                                                        Before the card was used at checkout, now it was used at check in. The hotel has no idea what the hell is going on.

                                                                                                        I also got a statement from my back saying my card was ran at the hard rock hotel at 7:22pm on 7-11 so apparently I showed up to the hotel even later than I thought. I knew I was late checking into the hotel. I even called the staff at Xbiz from Margaritaville because I was going to be checking in after registration for the show closed for the evening.

First they say the card was presented at check out, now it's at check in. I am willing to bet the card was not physically presented at all and they simply screwed up because both rooms were under the same group block.
