I had posted a thread asking if I should take this public a while back. Here is thread, http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=739463 , and now this is still outstanding so I decided to go public and warn people about what happened.
In a nutshell here is the story:
On May 10th Tracy asked me if I would do a paypal for epass transfer for $200. I had bought content from her before and felt comfortable doing it. Little did I know she didn't have the money in her paypal account to cover it and instead she sold some content to another webmaster and had him pay me via paypal to cover the transfer. Had I known this I would have never done the transfer. Me none the wiser to what is happening, I do the the transfer and everyone is happy.
Then on May 20th I happen to be chatting with her on ICQ about a new content package she has for sale when I get a notification from paypal that there has now been a dispute filed against the $200 she (or so I thought it was she) had sent me for the transfer. When I ask her what is going on all of a sudden she gets strange and starts saying things like, "I need to go do homework I'll be back in 30 minutes." and stuff like that. I have to leave so I tell her to figure it out and let me know. I just assume there was some kind of mistake made. The next day she comes clean and tells me about selling the content to that webmaster to cover the transfer and now he is charging it back.
I don't know what went on between those two exactly. All I know is that he claims he ordered content and paid extra to have it burned to DVD and shipped to him and she never sent it. Eventually, after a few weeks, she emailed him (and cc'd me on the email) the links to download the content but he said that wouldn't work he needed it on DVD. I refunded the guys money and Tracy promised to pay me the $200. I use paypal for a lot of mainstream stuff and didn't want to risk getting it canceled over this.
Tracy promised to pay me ASAP and after a few broken promises I got pissed and made the thread above. That got her attention and she promised to pay me within a day or two of me making that thread and told me she would give me some extra to make up for the trouble. This never happened. I would hear, "I will pay you by tomorrow morning." then not hear from her for 4 days. Then, "It will be before I go to sleep tonight." and nothing. I assumed she was still serious about paying me because she gave me the FTP info for all of their content and told me I could take what I wanted as a peace offering for this taking so long. For the record I have logged into it looking for some 2257 docs, but don't really see much there that I haven't already bought - nor did I find the docs I was looking for.
Finally on July 3rd she sent me a message that said epass has suspended her account and paypal has closed her account for doing adult transactions. She asked if a check would be okay and I told her as long as it was a cashiers check or money order yes. She promised to send it priority mail on July 5th. Of course it never came. She has not returned my emails or ICQ's and I am fed up. I will be filing a complaint with Epass.
I'm not the type of guy to take things public, but this really pisses me off. She has broken at least 5 different promises to pay me and I'm done being patient. This has been going on for more than two months now. So, if you are going to do business with Tracy/FantasyC/Fantasy Content, be wary, you never know what you might be getting yourself involved in.
