I don't use FB, but i see the shit everyone talks on my girlfriends page. It's cringeworthy stuff. The baby pics are never ending, and the general bullshit updates of what people are doing or thinking of doing every 20mins is just pointless to me.
Yet i see my gf logging in on her fone all the time in case she misses anything.
I'll be glad if/when social networking dies on it's ass! Then maybe, the internet can become fun again, and everyone won't be so up their own ass.
People used to be inventive on the net, now nobody bothers because the net is all about "updating your pathetic status"...

from a biz standpoint there are $ aspects to these platforms which is the only reason why i ever bothered in the first place.
