best site to get photos scanned?

    best site to get photos scanned?

    I see prices all over the place from 9 cents to 50 cents/photo.
    Anyone use any of these sites before?
    How's the quality?
    Which one is the best?
    I have about 500 4x6 photos I want to get scanned. I don't really like the quality on my own scanner. I have tried taking a digital picture of the 4x6 print with a dslr and it comes out better than the scanner, but it takes too much time.

      no idea about your question, but I know people that will freak out if you ask .50 for ultra detailed photoshopping of pictures. If you ask $0.09 to scan those pics I'm pretty sure their head would start spinning like Linda Blair's, let alone asking $0.50
