PEOPLE LIVING ALONE - how often do you go out, see friends etc ?

I didn't say I live like a hermit, I said I *can* go 2 - 3 weeks without seeing people. If you can't live with yourself (and fuck, judging from your attitude.. it'd be a hard sell) - then your chances of having solid interactions with others is greatly reduced.

Don't bother replying how many friends you have, I don't care ;)

From reading the first post for this, this dude really needs to get out more, but it really depends on the person life style and personality.

I for one enjoy my alone time ... I get a lot more things done. and I love having days or even weeks or months with contacting the out side world but that is just how my personality is.

That's one of the reasons I moved out to the middle of nowhere on a 4WD only road - I swear, my mother and sisters would just "be around" (granted, they DID live 5 miles away) and to add to that my son's friends were always in and out.

Out of 45 years the last few are the only ones where I've lived alone and I love it. When I want to eat out, see a movie, just have human contact I call/email someone and do it on MY time, not everyone else's. Selfish, yes, but I'm also just a call/email away from everyone else - just DON'T DROP IN, lol.

I do have some HS girlfriends though and as we get older we realize we aren't seeing each other enough so we're trying to schedule some more "Ya Ya Sisterhood" time. And my nieces are growing up fast so I try to hang with them as much as I can.

Last wednesday I realized i had not driven the car since the saturday before so that meant other than saying hello to the odd neighbor while walking the dog and a couple of phone calls there had been no interaction with people.
