Consider telling Paxum that you will be asking the Postmaster (or whatever you have up there) to conduct an investigation into the missing mail and ask for details which you can give to the postmaster. Two missing checks is not a coincidence. Unless you have the address wrong or there are issues with people stealing your other mail then either someone is stealing it in transit or else Paxum (or a rouge employee) never sent them out. Of course I'm not saying Paxum is doing this but it would be possible for a company to lie about sending the checks so they could collect a phony stop payment fee.
