Jackoff. What are you thinking? This is funny?
Nine times out of ten, when someone posts something like this I'd assume they're lying, but you're just thick enough and uncreative enough to really post a spoiler to a good book. Without a joke. Without being funny. I appeared on your radio show - I'm sure you remember it, the one where nobody was laughing except the DJ - and refrained from jumping in the 'bash headless' threads because I figured what the fuck, you're trying. You're doing the best you can. It's not your fault.
Turns out you're just a dick, trying to make a living by being funny and suffering under the severe handicap of being totally humorless. You know why people like you don't make it in this biz? Because you try to make it on personality when the fact is you don't have any. If you can't be funny and cool then shut the fuck up and get to work generating traffic. You're not JTF, you're not pimpdogg and you're sure as fuck not juicy. Open up homesite and get your fat ass to work, quit pissing people off with this stupid shit.Comment

UPS delivered my copy about 11 am this morning.
Being the curious feline that I am, I immediately flipped to the back of the book and read through the last few pages.
I won't spoil it for anyone.

Hi. Let me introduce You into the world of adult webmaster. In few posts I can guide into serious business, where You?ll be your own boss. These are step-by-step guides that help you set your own site or blog, then to make a content and gain visitors. Other post will show you how to monetize all this work into 200$-500$ a month. I make about 1000$ but I have my site for longer period and i?m slightly experienced.
But apart from that... I'm not entirely sure if the Harry Potter series would qualify as great art. It's well-written and hugely entertaining, but flawed in some ways as well. Then again, perhaps in a century, JK Rowling will have the same status as Dickens has now./(bb|[^b]{2})/Comment

I don't exactly think HP would be considered "great art", but its definitely a great story. I don't understand why anyone would say "thank God, I'm sick of him!" I pay little attention to things I don't like. If somebody else enjoys them, great.Vacares - Web Hosting, Domains, O365, Security & More - Paxum and BTC Accepted

JRR Tolkien and Shakespeare were also considered works of 'low' culture in their time. You don't get umpteen million readers by luck. 50 years from now this series will be considered a great classic, and I don't give a shit how many tough guys think it's uncool to like it.Comment

Actually dig I don't remeber when you appeared on my show. Which could only mean one thing, you were a fucking bore. If my radio show was such a waste of time why did you appear on it? For pity? ahahah Yeah right, you were looking for exposure and came to me.Jackoff. What are you thinking? This is funny?

Cry me a river if you are so fucking dense that you didn't see the joke in me creating this thread. It's a book. Maybe you need to go outside more. Enjoy life, and not let internet "threads" work you up into such a frenzy.
There is much more to life then Harry potter.

I would say so.. there are concordences, university courses, books about the books. Yeah LOTR qualifies if any book does.
Headless, I didn't see the joke for the same reason nobody else sees your jokes. You're not fucking funny. You're a boor; do you know what that means? You're asinine. Don't fucking try to defend yourself, you'll just make it worse. STFU and slink away.Comment

Maybe you didn't see the joke, because you were worked up into such a frenzy over this harry potter bullshit.

A story for you Headless:
There was once this little baby bird that felt it was time to spread his wings
and try to fly. He jumps out the nest only to fall straight to the ground.
He began walking until finally it started to get dark and cold, so he began
chirping and chirping, growing more afraid and cold as the sun went down.
Along came a cow that heard the little bird's chirping and felt pity on the
little bird. It walked over to the scared, cold little fella and lifted it's tail
and dropped a big old cow patty on the little bird. Now the bird was nice and
warm in the cow patty, but before long it got restless and began chirping and
chirping again, making a terrible racket.
Finally along came a coyote. He eased over to the little bird sitting there in the cow patty, picked him up and dusted him off. then swallowed him whole.
The moral to the story is this:
Not everyone that throws dirt on you is out to hurt you.
Not everyone that pulls you out of the dirt is out to help you.
Either way... when you're up to your nose in shit, keep your mouth shut.
Do you understand this or do you need cliff notes?Comment

Popularity, however, is not a guarantee for art. Consider the old James Bond movies - classics, undoubtedly, and rather entertaining as well, but probably not great art.JRR Tolkien and Shakespeare were also considered works of 'low' culture in their time. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Harry Potter books, and their popularity is well-deserved, but J.K. Rowling is no Shakespeare.
Here's a bit from a blog post I mostly disagree with, but which makes a few decent points nonetheless:
http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/books/20..._is_the_p.htmlHere, from page 324 of The Order of the Phoenix, to give you a typical example, are six consecutive descriptions of the way people speak. "...said Snape maliciously," "... said Harry furiously", " ... he said glumly", "... said Hermione severely", "... said Ron indignantly", " ... said Hermione loftily". Do I need to explain why that is such second-rate writing?
Now, I would strongly disagree with the assertment that Rowling's writing is second-rate, but it gives a good example of a significant weakness in the Harry Potter series./(bb|[^b]{2})/Comment

Samuel Pepys (1633-1703) called A Midsummer Night's Dream "the most insipid, ridiculous play that I ever saw in my life."
Voltaire wrote: "Shakespeare is a drunken savage with some imagination whose plays please only in London and Canada," "Shakespeare is the Corneille of London, but everywhere else he is a great fool..."
It's arguable. I like it.Comment
