Last night I did a google search for something related to hunting rights in the Netherlands. A 3 word query.
The top 5 results contained none of the words I did a search for. In fact, the top 5 results were totally unrelated.
One of the words in my query was "pacht" (a kind of rental contract), but Google in its wisdom instead displayed results for the word "patch" and ignored the other 2 words in the query.
All 3 words in my query were in Dutch. In fact they don't exist in English. Yet the top 5 results were in English and totally unrelated.
Google's result are becoming less relevant each day...

The
nfpr=1 variable for Google search will give you results for your exact query, instead of what they think you want to search.
If you use FireFox, try this.
type
about:config into address bar
filter for
keyword.URL
If it exists, double click entry and change value to
http://google.com/search?nfpr=1&q=
if it doesn't exist, right click anywhere in the window, select
New >>
String and add value
http://google.com/search?nfpr=1&q=
