I'm not sure when it became ok to rip off content. I'm really shocked to see you guys doing it and flaunting it here on gfy.

This pic is a Twistys pic.

Here are the three options for you guys...

Remove it asap.

Pay me for the right to use it.

Link the picture back to Twistys and use it according to our acceptable affiliate use policy.

I disagree. They ripped my content. I didn't have the owners contact info. So I started this thread to get it taken care of quickly and efficiently.

i would think the best way of dealing with it would be the fastest, especially when it concerns the dillution of your content.

But there are other people that you could have contacted than the owners. It;s just that I see it as a double standard around here. Just to clear this up. that photo was provided to us. We did not get it ourselves nor did we know it was from twistys. We have other photos so we are trying to confirm who has rights to them before we use them. We assumed the person supplying them had rights.

i would think the "professional" way would be to wait and sue

Vick in all honesty when it comes to protecting your content there is no way of doing it without pissing people off. In this situation I chose the way that would get the fastest response. People love to ignore emails and icqs. The one thing they don't ignore is GFY. I don't have the time to go looking for someone's email and contact info to ask them to clear up why they are using my content.

I can understand as a webcam owner Allan has no pics of the girls and has to rely on what is sent to him. I can understand alot of models don't own all the rights to their pics and they need to rely on hopefully being allowed to use some pics. I get that.

I need to protect our content. Recently we've had some mainstream magazines use our content and give credit to other companies (who obviously illegally passed it off as their own). If i didn't say anything here then who is to say a magazine wouldn't want to come and feature Webcamclub using that pic and then they'd get full credit and publicity off of something i paid good money for. I know that wouldn't be their intent but that is what happened in another situation.

Using GFY is usually faster ok but to assume DG did it deliberately is wrong. I understand the flexing the muscles part to discourage any future deliberate theft though.

I see models pics on dating sites all day long either uploaded by ugly members or more usually the stolen pic is uploaded to the dating site to promote a third site like Ifriends etc

I have to agree with the other opinion ... this is unprofessional ... they made a mistake it was an accident and a simple miscommunication somewhere ... I guarantee it has happened in another scenario in your company. Mistakes are made. I think you were a bit harsh to come on the forum about it.
