I had a friend who was raised as a Jehova's Witness. They totally fucked him up. When I met him he had recently been kicked out because he was having premarital sex, and his family wasn't allowed to speak to him.
About 2 years after that he tried to go back so that he could reconcile with his family. He was shunned. So he became a really bad smackhead and is now sitting in jail.
I blame it on the JW.
