Peel Pub has new management that are trying to clean the place up, so it has lost some of the atmosphere that made it great ;/
However it's still the best place to start Thursdays nights for their wide variety of $1 shooters, lots of which are NOT watered-down surprisingly. Loft also has cheap drinks Thursday (1.25 for beer or certain shots), but has an $8 cover.
For food, anyone not looking for greasy food should checkout Krepa on Crescent, beside Teasers (strip club). My friend just opened it, it serves Krepes, Paninis, Salad, Fries, appetizers and Alcohol and is damn tasty. Many of the strippers from teasers can be found there after their shifts end at 3am.
