actually, my luggage was taken off the plane along with almost everyone else s. it was then held for 4 days in costa rica and then returned to me broken. Fluffy, I have never said this to anyone on the board, but you are a complete moron. Please make sure to introduce yourself to me at any show. Someone, you admittedly said you don't know who, used your credit card to try to pay someone else's room charges.
1. Who would be stupid enough to steal a credit card and then use it for a room that is in their name.
2. Anyone could have done this to make her look bad, maybe someone she was in a certain competition with.
3. How did she get your wallet exactly. Did you lose it or was it stolen. I am not trying to say you are stupid for losing it, but if you lost it admit you lost it. If it was stolen then I would think how could have stolen it and go from there. If you lost it, it could have been anyone, but everyone here keeps saying it was stolen. So who had access to steal it, since she doesn't know you how do you suppose she managed to "steal it" from you.
How would you feel if at the next convention she gives her credit card to one of her friends, they go pay for your room with it, and then she reports the card stolen, comes on her and tries to ruin your rep. This thread makes me ill. There are books out there that tell you tricks like this to discredit someone. Like, put a letter in someone's mailbox addressed to the Predisdent laced with threats, then put up the flag on the box. The mailman picks up the letter and delivers it without the homeowner ever knowing. Within days they get a surprise visit.
I hope it wasn't Lisa and I have faith that it wasn't. She would have very little to gain and EVERYthing to lose. It just doesn't add up.Comment

We are both right Caza showed me in an email where indeed his card was used on the room. However, it was not placed by myself, Jeff my husband or our friend.
However, I received my copy today after this came about from the Hard Rock they faxed me over a copy. My copy does not show Caza's credit card on the receipt.
My copy shows one card where I reserved the room months ago. Then the other two cards where I split the room with our friend and his card.
As for the room not taken care of, they were. We gave them a card on file for all charges to include our room service, internet and drinks at the pool, etc.Comment

That was not the case. I had no idea who was on the phone asking me for money talking about the police and a wallet. I was totally caught off guard.
I have respect on both sides internet and video. I love going to the webmaster conventions meeting new people and seeing those who I am have become friends with over the years. I been around for six years. I did not get this far talking down to people and thinking my poop does not stink.Comment

First, I genuinely hope that Caza gets his wallet and it's contents back...
With that said, this mystery would be solved by now if Ed Deline and Danny McCoy were on the case:
The strangest elements of this story to me, are that:
Lisa claims she was at the airport at the time someone tried to use Caza's card to pay for her hotel room. If her account was already closed out as she claims (via Express Check-Out), why would she or the other's in her room bother trying to use a stolen credit card to pay for the room?
It should be easy enough to determine if that is the case.
Why would a contest competitor hatch up such a Machiavellian scheme to discredit someone? Also, why would a thief try to pay for a total strangers hotel room knowing they would risk getting busted?
I hope the hotel tapes either exonerate or implicate Lisa (or one of her associates - hubby or roommate).
The plot thickens...

Actually am not sure how the wallet went missing, It may have fallen out of my pocket or my pocket may have been picked. Until today I had no clue, this morning (nearly a week later) a charge appeared on my statement online. There should be no way that could happen, I canceled it on the 12th. I was livid this morning, How could my card get charged, I called the hard rock, and they told me it had been presented at the front desk to pay for lisa's rm. They asked me if I knew her and I said no, they gave me the name on the room and the room number. I hunted down the rest.
The thought that someone would go use it to frame her is relatively ridiculous, not impossible, but fairly ridiculous. Either way I am goin to vegas in the next few days and will check the tapes. I do however have a fax in my hand wioth her room bill, showing someone took my cartd to the front desk and paid her balance. I would have been the wrong person to choose for this, since never once had I participated in a thread of this type.
So far I am unconvinced of anyones innocence, but should I find just that, then I will be the first to announce it.Comment

If you never lost sight of your wallet or did something dumb with it (like lay it by the pool unguarded), the most likely culprit is someone you know or knows you who was around you during the trip. If that's the case, my guess would be it was someone being a cocksucker by thinking it would be funny to charge other people's shit to your card.
I can't fathom the girl would go through this much trouble and potentially be exposed by a video camera to defender herself. Someone who has been around the industry as long as she have, who is married, has a kid, doesn't seem like the type that goes around pickpocketing random people they don't know.Comment

ok the first part makes sense and clears that part up about the faxes.
...but what I'm saying is how would the thief know your real name, your room number and that you were just about to leave and were going to do room checkout rather than go to the desk because if he didn't get the timing exactly right when he said "oh I want to put the charges for this room on this card instead of the one you have on file" the desk clerk would have said either "uh the room charges were already taken care of, you want to pay twice?" or "uh Lisa is not due to checkout until tomorrow or whenever?"
I am just trying to help you explain yourself as based on the information given so far it seems to me more likely that you were involved "somehow" rather than someone went out of their way to screw with you but you sure aren't acting like a guilty person as they would have disappeared by now so the whole thing doesn't make sense at all.
I mean like I said earlier, would a fellow Booble contestant go this far to discredit you? They could have done more damage with a "She owes me money and doesn't clean her bathroom" thread on GFY rather than risking or getting a friend to risk getting caught committing a crime and ruining their rep when the truth came out.
...and if it's not a fellow contestant behind this then like I said earlier, you probably know who it was but you haven't mentioned "I think I know who might have done this to me" yet so that doesn't seem like it could be the answer either.Comment

Post a picture of the other roommate that was with you too (preferably a photo taken in Vegas, and ideally showing someone else in the photo who is not involved in this mess, that can vouch that the person in the photo indeed stayed at the same room as you and your hubby).

Your right I have no explanation for what happened at all. I cant talk for something I was not around for. On Saturday morning I left the hotel at around 745 to 8am. My husband and I exited the hard rock casino on the side entrance of the hotel and waited for his parents to arrive with our daughter. She was staying with his parents over at circus circus. Since they dont see her much anymore. Anyway Jeff's parents drove the three of us to the airport. Our flight left at 1020am. The time of the credit card miss deal was either while we were at the airport or boarding or in the air. I dont know if someone saw us leave. I dont know if someone went to the room to see if we were there or even called the room. I have no idea. I did not have this mans wallet, credit card or money. I would have returned it and said you owe me a finders fee. :0)

This is why I hate messageboards and people who thrive off of drama. Not saying you, but some of your "close friends" sure couldn't wait to cause some drama. It has been said over and over your wallet was stolen, now you are saying you don't know what happened to it. For all you know you could have dropped it. But everyone is accussing this girl of her "stealing it" from you.
Its sounds like you had a bad couple days, that sucks. The credit card company let you down, the hotel let you down, but that gives you no right to jump all over someone else with no proof. You think it is ridiculous that someone could frame her, but not impossible. But yet this thread to trash her was still made and you participated in it by saying you have proof! which was just a statment from the hotel showing your card was used on her room which mean nothing. I think it is ridiculous that someone would use a stolen credit card on a room that was in their name. Take the $1,000 out of the wallet and toss it or at worse go run up some charges at walmart or some shit, but to use it on a room that has your name on it, that is more then rediculous IMO.
You do realize that she is in a competition with what 12 other girls? I wouldn't be shocked if someone was trying to smear her for that reason alone, or maybe someone doesn't like her and wanted to fuck with her. Look at the title of the thread and inital post, all about the contest she is in. Sure has been a lot of people and fake nicks bashing her in this thread, so not like she has a shortage of people who obivously don't care for her. Wouldn't be a big surprise from the characters we have in this industry if one of them were behind this.
I don't know either of the people involved so i can look at this with a non bro, non biased opinon. If she didn't do this, and i am thinking she did not from what has been posted, you might have more headaches then losing your wallet. Well I do know there were about 2000 kids that invaded the the hotel on Friday for a concert. Perhaps one of the kids found the wallet forgot his room number and it was charged on mine. This is as close to reason as I can see in this.Comment
