Your Top 3 Favorite Hot Rods

If you had to pick three Hot Rods, pre 1980, what would they be?
    year, make, model

    Mine would be...
    1. 1971, Ford, Mustang Mach 1
    2. 1973, Chevy, Camaro
    3. 1969, Chevy, Corvette Stingray

      Interesting choices though.

I generally prefer late 60's muscle cars. Bigger motors

I like the older cars as well. These three came to be my favorites I think because I had them at one point or another. There were a lot of really spectacular cars and designs in these older cars for sure.

I've always gotten as much from these older cars in just looking at them as seeing them run and go, true works of art in my view.

                  1965 Shelby Cobra

                  1965-1966 Chevelle SS

                  1963 Nova Wagon

In no particular order of course. I'd take a properly done wagon over the other two any day.

I agree to a certain extent, but then what would you call the 'rods' from the 50's to the 80's? Muscle Cars is the other term I think of, but somehow they all seem to fall into a general 'Hot Rod' class.

Excellent choices from all over so far, super cars

These are "Muscle Cars" not hot rods!
