I can't believe he tried to bribe me with a credit card.

Seriously, "please let me go" as he handed me his credit card. Funny thing is, he was an older black guy, and it had his picture on it. Did he really think I could pass for an old black man?

No one can say I haven't had an interesting last couple of days, that is for sure.

When Baddog got home from vegas, he was kind of tired and wanted to just go crash on the couch. But when he walked in his living room, it looked like his TV was just floating around. Of course, Baddog was mad about his broken tv so he shot the guy first and then called the cops. When the cops got there, the guy was still alive so they beat him a little before throwing him in the trunk of thier car.

Pretty close.

An old friend of mine (30+ years) is in town. I was supposed to meet up with him on Friday for sinner, but Friday was not very cooperative with our plans. We rescheduled to meet down in the OC on Saturday afternoon.

I am on my bike, cruising about 80 when I notice this 300 approaching at a very high rate of speed and it passes me on the right. About a second later an Intrepid comes blasting by going even faster, and I figure they are racing each other (100 MPH+).

Just as the Intrepid passes me, the traffic in front of us slows down rapidly, and he swings left across 3 lanes of traffic going into the HOV lane which has a Mustang doing about 70-75 . . . I could see this wasn't going to work out so I slowed up a little and watched the Intrepid rear end the Mustang.

This caused the driver of the Mustang to hit his brakes which, of course, caused even more issues for the driver of the Intrepid.

He started bouncing off the center divider as he tried to regain control. He then swerved across 5 lanes of traffic (luckily not hitting anyone else) as he pulled over to the right. I pulled my bike behind him, and proceeded to summon help on my cell.

The two drivers were taking their time getting out of their respective cars, and I figured they must be calling 5-0 themselves, but I was wrong.

The driver of the Intrepid was trying to get his shit together, then came out with a pint of Seagrams 7, looked at me, and proceeded to toss it down the iceberg embankment. I walked down and retrieved it.

"It isn't mine."

"What kind of fool do you think you are dealing with?"

That is when he pulled out his credit card, handed it to me and said, "please let me go. I did not mean to do it."

He tried to convince me few additional times to help him get a tow truck, but I assured him the CHP would handle that for him, so he had nothing to worry about.

Another guy had been riding behind me and saw most of what I described above. He also pulled over because he was as pissed as me.

I would suspect so. I did not hang out after they arrived as my passenger needed to find a bathroom . . . . stat.

Just gave them a brief rundown and my business card.

Judging by the trouble they were having getting him to cooperate I highly doubt they let him on his merry way.
