Okay, here is what I think is funny:
Until someone buys the fairly useless site ************** and takes down the stolen images and whatnot, this guy won't have the money to go to court.
Dude, I checked it out (very closely): You are looking at probably $10,000 just to start by getting a lawyer in the state of California to issue the summons to GFY / Playboy to get the actual names or IP addresses of the people you think have wronged you. This number is low, because if GFY decides to contest your request, you could end up in court for a long freaking time, probably dumping $50,000 - $100,000 just to get the info on the people who wronged you.
Then you have to go to each of their ISPs, in each state and or country, and do the whole thing again to get usage records (if they have kept them) to get closer to the people in question.
Then you get to do it all again in your actual lawsuit.
Do you have $250,000 to $500,000 to risk on this? You could do all that and lose, which would mean you are out of pocket all that (plus the defenants legal costs if you aren't careful).
