    Prehistoric Man

Just a random thought with all the low carb diets, paleo, ketosis, etc... being discussed on the forum. If prehistoric man were mostly hunters for the longest while, how did they avoid constipation?

wouldn't an all natural diet of fresh meat and berries and nuts and leaves n stuff, be a preventative for constipation in the first place?

No additives, no preservatives, no 'over eating' plenty of exercise etc...

    Sounds ideal to me

I wouldn't say that early humans were mostly hunters. They likely ate a lot of ground-level vegetation, like berries, fruits, stalks, and whatnot. Combined with whatever meat they also had, I think this would have prevented constipation fairly well.

I wouldn't say anything about early humans.
I wasn't there, and even if I was, I don't remember it anyway...

              Early man? No such thing.

Early humans were manufactured. The proof is in the Carbon within our DNA, is different from that of the Earth's "Evolved" creatures.

              Its been proven.
Translation: Something came here took some animals and altered the genetics. We are similer to "Naturally" evolved creatures but we just got "souped up". Which explains many things about our Difference from other animals on the planet and the "missing link".

Exactly why I walk 12 - 20 miles a day sometimes. Lost almost 100 pounds doing that with some weights. No constipation here!

While we do have some similarities with prehistoric man, we are not actually created similarly enough to share the same diet and digestion functions.

God made us originally as plant eaters, with the creation of our great ancestors Adam and Eve, only later did he allow us to eat animals, which he then accommodated for in our development.

This is an often overlooked fact that leads to wrong conclusions when discussing this topic.
