    File transfer suggestions

I'm interested in hearing differing ways to get about 8-50 gigs a week in content transfered from one of my shooters back to me. Economical as well as convenience. This person is a browser/email type computer person so I was trying to find a simple solution short of FedEx.

    Thank yous....

external hard drive. Ship them. Better off in the long run. Less chance of file corruption. Quicker too.

Seems like a 5 or 10 Mbps upstream connection would work for this, all you have to do is find one. Verizon Fios has 5 mbps upsteam connections to homes in my area. I would check around. After you have the connection, you can run a small file server on your home computer where you buddy can download the files.

Well I just did the math, .6 Mb/s times 3600 seconds = 2 gigs per hour, still kinda slow.

Teach your friend upload files to ftp server, and get yourself a cheap hosting plan with 50+ gb storage/transfer
