Personally, I think that 2257 legislation doesn't have to be bad thing... in essence, it's simply due diligence on the part of the producers - but I do feel that whatever laws are passed should apply to _everyone_ (Hollywood, included): as long as there's equality in that regard, industry discrimination and persecution is a nonissue, and that secondary producers should be exempt from the necessity of hard copies when a sworn affidavit will suffice in its stead.
