Stay in a YMCA. There is a cool one in Wimbledon. You will meet loads of young people travelling and get laid very easily in there.

just got back .. london was a blast

stayed 3 nights in the park plaza on baker street . . then one night at a friends house .. then one night in the hilton at paddington .. then the last night at the holiday express in croydon

london is fun .. go there . only a bit expensive . . other than that its great fun !

The only problem you might have is to find cheap hotels and affordable edible food. You better live on beer smokes during that week.

I've stayed at many of the grand old hotels like the Park Lane or the Savoy for OK prices, booked through Expedia or Travelocity, but don't expect it to be "cheap".
