Keep in mind it is not ALL Children. What works for one, does not work for others.
I have 3 children, one is the model child, with great grades, mows lawns, and so on.
I have one, that for no reason any counsler can explain is just going down the wrong path.
The school thing is getting so stupid. They told my one child you can get straight F's and we will pass you, and guess what, that is EXACTLY what she did. They also told here that even if a Parent has a Stern deep voice, that is a form of verbal abuse, and calls SRS on you.
Once a child gets older, has the school telling them you can not do a thing to them, it gets hard to do anything. The one child, you say time out? She loves time out, she goes to her EMPTY room, and SLEEPS, so she doesn't have to do any chores.
