Home PC, using Avast, no worries here
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                          think about that

Avira but I also use malwarebytes and sandboxie. You don't have to worry about viruses with sandboxie, if one launches just close the virus or reset the computer. If something did get around sandboxie I have automatic backups running.

Test a few out as some are MUCH better at keeping up with current threats than others.

Download a few "cracks" for programs (easy enough to find from google) that are usually in a zip or exe file (don't open/run them tho).

Go to http://www.virustotal.com/ and upload the file and see who finds what. You'd be surprised at some of the bigger names in virus protection that don't pick up on trojans embedded in them.

None active. I have Avast installed but the process is killed and it is removed from startup. I fire it up every few months to run a deep scan and always come away clean.

Here's all I need to do, and I surf a LOT of porn lol

                                                              1. I use NoScript in Firefox. Nothing gets in or gets added to whitelist unless I trust it. Blocks malicious javascript as well.

                                                              2. I practice safe downloading techniques.
                                                              - If it looks like an ad, it probably is an ad.
                                                              - Search the page for the proper download link.
                                                              - I stay away from cracks and warez.
                                                              - If I am downloading a file from a site that did not create the file, I check for the original provider and get it there instead.
                                                              - NEVER click "Like" on facebook to see the video, photo or webpage.
                                                              - Never open an email attachment unless you trust the sender and see it's not an exe, pif or video file.

                                                              3. I don't let teenagers use my computer. Period.

That application has caused more crashes and false senses of security than any app I have ever came across in my life. I've had to reformat so many people's computers because of that bundle.

To those on Rogers high speed. Do the same. Yes you get free anti-virus from a leading antivirus publisher however bundled in it is a backdoor the ISP can use at any time access your windows based computers even with a router or hardware firewall installed..
