Well it was from a site I ran and all of my accounts went under that username. Wasn't something I setup to be funny.

I know back in the 1990's we used to have accounts named all kinds of nasty stuff. Even had a company named that way. First couple of checks and we changed that real fast. We did think it was funny and cool...until the checks came.

I've only had maybe one other sponsor actually print my account name on a check but usually they don't. No need to since *most* of the time there is a check stub with account name, period dates, etc. Just like the check doesn't say "BrainCash," it says "HVL Cyber Web Solutions Inc."

Don't use the teller, deposit it through the ATM. Easier and most banks process those electronically.

We have always used the ATM because when I use to have to deposit international checks and checks of larger amount if I went inside they would hold it seven days. If I did it through the ATM it was instant. I remember asking them why, seemed like it was backwards to me. The ATM doesn't know if you are actually putting in those checks, the teller does.

I've tried that before. Any Canadian check, withdrawing from a US bank or not, gets sent back to me for some stupid reason. Wachovia wont even deposit it and Bank Of America takes forever to figure it out and usually just cashes it for me.

But now most banks don't take checks in envelopes at the ATM, they want you to scan them in one by one. That takes forever for 50-100 checks a week.
