so like everyone else, i thought netflix instant streaming movies library blew hard. but i just logged on, new layout and a ton of great movies are in there now. more of ones released a few years back, but great flicks none the less. seems a couple pretty new ones are in there too. i guess they are really making that big push to rid of the mail delivery and go only online. great company

They will often stream really new movies for a limited time. They had the first Iron Man on streaming for a little while and I just watched Easy A on stream last week.

Netflix came preloaded on my Google ITV flat screen, so that tempted me to sign up. However, I also love being able to watch movies from my hotel room when I travel. I can watch the movies from the comfort of home, or while traveling when there is nothing else on.
It has a lot of variety, so I can always find something of interest in my 'instant queue' in new releases, documentaries, or even watching some old tv show episodes. It is an awesome product of convenience for pennies a month.

Pirating movies was always about accessibility for me, anyway. If I was able to actually pay to stream the movies online, I'd do that (and I do now, with Netflix.) I just don't want to have to wait for a DVD to come in or have to go out and rent it.

The selection is pretty good, but you like the new layout? Seriously? It doesn't even list the titles on the browse page, and everything is in a random order. No way to sort, and the side scroll thing just kills me. I had to use the chrome extension to force it back to the old style just to be able to browse without wanting to throw something at my monitor.gone. long gone.

I like to see it random sometimes, but I also want to be able to sort. I almost never know what I want to watch before I visit, so I don't really ever navigate directly to a particular video. Also, I have no interest in the one star and two star stuff, and now I can't see at a glance what's got a decent rating and what doesn't.gone. long gone.
