Hand me down from Mom, damn I hated this thing. I drove the shit out of it too. When I was done with it, 1st and 4th gears were the only ones that worked and most of the doors didn't stay shut. Very Nice!!!
I had almost the same I had a 1982 Renault 5 Alpine Turbo lol good times
My best friend had two 5 Alpine Turbos (metallic blue ones), crazy cars...lots of power and no weight. He actually died in a car crash in his 5 alpine turbo...hit a tree @ 140 km/hr
Hard to find a pic of these anymore...it was an 1983 Cavalier Type-10 Hatchback and it was a grayish blue (I don't think on purpose). It was a hand-me-down from my older brother as it was his 1st car. We put that thing through hell and finally killed it about a year after I got it back in like 1994. Had some good time in that motherfucker for sure!
it was even the same color as this one
sadly, I don't have a pic of the actual car, but somewhere in an old photo album is a picture of the tree that made it stop running...
I am much like you my mom helped with a 1986 Chevy Pickup pictured below. Two years I sold it to a friend who crashed it in a bad winter storm. He was ok from the crash thankfully.
I had a 1965 VW Beetle. It was not this color, but this is a nice pic of one.. Mine was restored by myself in a shop, it took me two years to restore.. It looked the same as this one except mine was two tone, metalic burgendy wine, with white sides. I have no pics as they were destroyed or lost. It was a great car...
Tiny Superfast car which works on any surface, quick 45 seconds recharge function on the remote control. 6 cm Mini Radio Control Car with charging feature on the remote control
1979 Celica - like this but blue. Had 15 or so miles on it when I got it new for 16th bday. Had something like 160K when I got rid of it - it was a GREAT car
it was a black/grey 1985 Fiero GT. Now sitting in pieces in my parents driveway

Now don't laugh, this is me in 1984-85. I was 16 I think.
My dad gave me my first truck. Was a 1978 F-150 4X4 that he rolled and wrecked when it was only a year old. We bought it back from the Insurance company and plopped a 1952 F-250 cab on it.
Rear shot.
Here it is after I put a new bed and painted it up. I also did about 3500 bucks worth of engine work. (that was alot back then) I worked at NAPA in the machine shop though so I was gung ho. (that's my dad in the pic)
This was my second truck, I restored it from the ground up. 1970 Bronco 4x4
A shot with the top on.
This was my first dirt bike/enduro in 1980 when I was 14. Hodaka 100cc Road Toad

mine didn't look quite this good..it was more of a "urine" green, with the original stock, A.M. radio.
I had a boom box in the back seat blasting cassettes. New tires and rims, and i kept it tuned up, had some bondo..the back seat cushions were ripped, but the fucking engine could do no wrong. That car hauled ass!!
I never lost a street race.
I miss it.
Nowadays they sometimes masquerade as the poor man's Lamborghini or Ferrari.
OMG tell me those aren't fieros!!!!
They used to have a kit for them when I was younger that made them look like a Ferrari with the crazy "scissor" doors. I know some Ferrari enthusiast is going to jump all over me for not knowing the model but it's early in the morning here LOL! ;)
My first car was a blue 1983 buick skylark. I bought it for $1 as it needed a new engine. Spent $800 to have a rebuilt put in and proceeded to blow it up in 2 months driving it like a teenager in a stolen car; kids lol . Had the engine repaired under warranty and then kicked the shit out of the car for 2 more years until the transmission blew. Fun times in my first car.
