PB, have a team come out and seal your vents, doors, etc. Once we did this at the house we have only seen 1 in 4 years inside. Outside is another story, killed 2 last night with my blacklight. Seriously, get one of these: http://www.blacklight.com/items/SCRPH2-28 and you will be glad you did.
actually one of the more dangerous ones is the bark scorpion which is found all over arizona including the phoenix area.....
yeah we have tons here in vegas as well.... Im born and raised in the desert.. it's funny to see city folk loose their minds on some trails up through red rock or death valley.... they hit 110 degrees and start to loose their mind... I just take the sweater off at 90 degrees LOL..
all scorpions will glow as well thats a great way to find em at night... get a little blacklight from like spencers or something then go hunting.. I can remember growing up at my aunts house which at the time was the middle of nowhere wed go hunting at night and catch the little fuckers same with lizards and snakes... I remember one time we chased a lizard under a piece of plywood... and when we lifted the plywood there was a snake... .. talk about running my ass off.... when hunting a lizard and a snake is where a lizard should be... scares the piss out of ya hahaha....
I was never stung by a scorpion or bit by a snake but I got nailed one time in a house of mine that the backyard was un-landscaped by a (vinegaroon) sp someone look it up... that FUCKING sucked it like bit me and sprayed a mist that was like pure stinging vineger... all I could taste was vineger for days... kept puking... to this day I am not a fan of vineger much.. maybe some balsamic with oil and bread but thats it... when people around me put it on their fish and chips a tiny part of me looses it inside hahahahah
sorry for the rant im stoned and just realized how much I just wrote.... damn this good vegas weed hahaha ... how are ya? how are things?... go buy a size 13 mans workboot and you got the best bug killer in the world....
